Cody Hamiliton ‘Relics’ Photo Series

Intrigued by the recent discovery that the often touted ‘Grecian Urns’ of early civilization were actually quite kitsch in their day, Texan artist Cody Hamilton set out to re-imagine the archeology of the 80’s in a series of marble white ‘Relics’. Beautiful in their minimalism, his take on the items we once cherished and now scoff at is at times both intriguing and paradoxical.
