Zhang Huan’s “Hope Tunnel” in Beijing

Chinese contemporary artist Zhang Huan is holding a solo show at the Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art in Beijing, China. Huan is known for bringing forth shocking reality in his art, and he continues to do so in his latest installation. Entitled “Hope Tunnel”, Huan purchased, refurbished, and installed real train wreckage from the 2009 Sichuan earthquake. The show remains open until October 24th.
