Japanese pop artist Yoshitomo Nara is set to open his latest solo exhibition at Los Angeles’ Blum & Poe Gallery later this week. Nara is well known for his stunning contemporary pieces that juxtapose cute, anime-inspired characters with dark, horror-like imagery. Be sure to stop by for the opening this Saturday, December 20th. The show runs through January 31st, 2009.
