Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand

There are possibly only two relevant figureheads in American pop-culture today, Barack Obama being the obvious choice leaves but one: the irrepressible Shepard Fairey. Widely known for his Obey Giant propaganda machine and more recent association with Obama, Fairey has become one of the most respected and recognizable artists of our generation. To celebrate his dominance in the street art scene over the last two decades, our main man Shepard has compiled a definitive collection of his personal works in a museum quality book aptly entitled Obey: Supply and Demand. The hardcover publication features a 100 pages of art, commentary and photography in a tell-all account of his rise through the ranks. Published by Gingko Press, Supply and Demand is available now through DKE Toys and comes with a full-color poster from Shepard Fairey (as above).

  1. Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to feature the Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand exhibition on the Exhibitions page. The feature will consist of a description of the exhibition, contact information and a link to the gallery’s website.

It would be appreciated if you could send me a press release and some images to illustrate the page. I need a minimum of three, but if you can provide more that’s great.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind Regards,
