Saber, a legendary graffiti artist from Los Angles, is opening his first solo show entitled “The American Graffiti Artist”, at New York City’s Opera Gallery on 115th Spring Street, May 6, 2011.
Saber’s work at the Opera Gallery includes his “new reality” canvases and the Tarnished series- a particularly intriguing group of American flag paintings he composed during the 2010 healthcare reform debates. Recognized for his sprawling LA murals and striking letterforms, Saber’s artwork is now receiving much-deserved, international recognition for the graffiti world this month in New York.
