Red Wing Shoes: ‘The Tannery’ Video

Red Wing Shoes has released its next video in a series documenting the work that goes into producing quality leather footwear. The video features Red Wing subsidiary S.B. Foot Tanning Company, one of the few leather manufacturers in the United States still using wooden drums.

As explored in the video, this helps control the temperature changes that occur during the tanning process, and essentially the quality of the final product.
