For the upcoming Chinese New Year, Puma is also releasing its own “Year Of The Horse” Pack to celebrate the event. However, the sportswear apparel brand is deviating from the usual red and gold colorways that other sneaker labels have done with their commemorative sneakers as the Puma Suede & Suede Mid – “Year Of The Horse” sneakers are offered in chocolate brown and sand hues.
The brand pays tribute to this occasion by taking inspiration from the game of Chinese chess by adding a wooden piece hang tag embossed with the Chinese zodiac character for horse and gilded markings near the heel panel. The Puma Suede & Suede Mid – “Year Of The Horse” Pack comes complete with a Chinese Chess board-inspired box. The collection is slated for a worldwide release on select retailers this week.
