Puma has requested that artist Kehinde Wiley to paint portraits of three world-famous footballers who sport Puma kits at the World Cup this year. ‘The Art of Football’ features John Mensah, Samuel Eto’o, and Format favorite Emmanuel Eboue. Wiley’s paintings depict the players wearing Puma’s ‘Unity’ kit, and are meant to evoke feelings of unity, pride and strength.
