Chinese artist, Liao Yibai from Chongqing, China is preparing for his “Real Fake” exhibit inside the Mike Weiss Gallery. The exhibit features many hand-welded stainless steel objects such as wristwatches, heels, and animals in large scale with much detail. His sculptures are impressive in size and carry the message that materialism is not everything in life. The exhibition opens September 10th.
