Penfield‘s spring / summer 2010 collection gets a dark, urban treatment in this series of photographs by Better Never Than Late. Penfield sells itself as being a sort of American heritage brand, but these photographs show another side – how the label works in a modern, urban context. More familiar to the Format staff this way, these pieces come off as sleek, modern, and practical, with function directing form.
