One of New York’s finest up-and-coming art houses and toy conoisseurs, Schmancy Gallery, are set to kick off an exhibit with local artist Parskid. To get an idea of what he’s all about, Parskid’s work juxtaposes ominous, shadowy animals and pale-skinned waifs up against sunny backdrops – a contrast that makes some of his paintings even more eerie.
