The Palazzo Grassi in Venice will be opening the doors to ‘Murakami World’ this Wedsneday, June 9th. The entire museum, from the cafe to the galleries, will be explored by Mr. Murakami and specific Japanese themes. Takashi Murakami has come to be one of the most relevant and recognized artists of our time, and will be lecturing alongside Japanese art historian Nobuo Tsuji, as well as heading classes for the kids on making their own stuffed animals. What?!
That’s right. The legend himself will be there, so if you can make it for this exclusive three days of Murakami madness, be sure to grab an autograph. More info from The Palazzo Grassi.
