Working out of Bogota, Columbia, photographer Mariaelisa Duque has created a visually fascinating photo series titled simply ‘Vanity.’ The images, which feature a woman’s face in various levels of obstruction and distortion, work to analyze the nature of appearances and how these are informed by both ourselves and society at large.
