Last summer, Chicago-based filmmaker Justin Jach went to São Paulo, Brasil to make A Series of Exchanges, a short form about graffiti and the way it is used by people in São Paulo to form social relations. Jach speaks to Rui Amaral, an artist who teaches an urban intervention class and leads an organization who works to revitalize city spaces with street art.
