Justin Bua, the Upper West Side’s king of ‘Distorted Urban Realism,’ returns to his roots at the end of this month with his first ever hometown solo show at NYC’s Pop International Galleries. Bua’s recognizable signature style explores urban scenes and topics, inspired by his formative years as a graffiti artist immersed in hip hop and street culture. A graduate of Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design, Bua is also a successful commercial artist with a CV that includes a campaign for EA Sports.
