Gregoire Vieille, a photographer working out of Paris, France, has developed a series for Amusement Magazine titled “Electrotoys.” The works, which showcase a series of vintage video gaming consoles among colorful abstract backgrounds, draw the viewer in with their underlying complexity. This series ultimately speaks to the ever-increasing appeal of all things vintage; demonstrating the ability for the obsolete consoles of yesteryear to be re-imagined in a fashion that’s highly modern in its aesthetics, if not its subject matter.
