A Love Letter for You Documentary

Steve Powers’ A Love Letter for You is a project in partnership with the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and the Pew Centre for Arts and Heritage. An undertaking of considerable scope and aim, Love Letter engaged over 40 local and international artists to paint 50 walls on Market Street between 63rd and 45th Street. The project also includes a sign school where young people can learn about creating signs and public art, and will provide free signage for local businesses. The project kicked off about a year ago but will soon by immortalized in a documentary produced in collaboration with Ghost Robot. Check out the trailer and a gallery of images from the project below.

  1. This is going to be so amazing, can’t wait to see it. Does anybody know where I can find out release dates? I’m also so glad they used a Junip song in the trailer, too! “Howl” is such a great tune, I hope they play more stuff or Jose Gonzalez’s solo songs in the actual film
