Berlin-based designer Elisa Strozyk, has unveiled her wooden home creations, which includes this table and blanket, which are patterned like honeybee nests. Having attained her masters in Future Textile Design in St. Martin, Elisa isn’t afraid to experiment with texture and fabric, challenging our traditional sense of touch. For example, her use of veneer on blankets, creates unique patterns, but also challenges our perception of how material should folds and feels (when you play with it, it scrunches up into a geometrical cubic pattern, instead of crumpling normally).
