Danielle Levitt ‘We Are Experienced’ Launch

In conjunction with art book retailer powerHouse books and Freshjive, photographer Danielle Levitt is set to launch We Are Experienced at Reserve in LA. Levitt, whose work focuses on themes in American youth, displays her talent through a gritty, populist lens: she covers topic matters from urban to suburban, individuals and groups, mainstream and marginalized. And, we’ve come to expect that type of diversity from her: her photography doesn’t choose high school ideological slants, covering football stars, punks, and anorexics (among others) – giving well-rounding commentary on growing up in America. The launch will also feature a book signing and limited edition t-shirts, amongst other festivities – so check it out if you’re in LA!
