Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art is excited to announce its presentation of Dan Witz: Dark Doings, which opens November 5th, 2009. Born in Chicago, Illinois during the late fifties, Dan Witz is widely regarded as one of the most important voices in the history of street art with work impacting on art lovers from New York to Amsterdam and everywhere in-between. Our friends at Wooster Collective say of Witz, “For us, Dan Witz is the consummate street artist. He’s provocative. He’s dedicated. And most of all – He has absolutely wicked skills…” We couldn’t agree more.
