Slap happy bassist Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame recently joined forces with artist Damien Hirst to design a series of Spin Bass Guitars featuring his iconic splash color design. At first you may think that the pairing is a little peculiar, but once you release that Flea also did this for a living and Hirst did this, it’s pretty clear that this is a match made in heaven.
The guitars will be launched on November 8th, 2011, at Other Criteria in London. All proceeds from the sales will go to the Silverlake conservatory of music.
