Converse Japan debuts “Malden, Massachusetts”

Here’s a truly impressive concept for a collection that involves more than just the unexpected pairing of a couple of major brands. For the first collection from its new “Malden Massachusetts” range, Converse Japan challenged itself to design a range of clothing for the students of Black Mountain College, an experimental North Carolina school which ceased to exist in 1957. Very, very impressed at the outside-the-box thinking with this one, it makes every piece (which is very student-body friendly) just that little bit more interesting.
