Blackship is an outdoorsy brand that specializes in rugged, durable bags and luggage. For the Fall/Winter 2012 collection, designer Taehyun Park channeled his inspiration from functional outdoor apparel and used canoe backpacks. The result brings us a line of goods constructed out of Martexin’s 100% original wax cotton and solid leather vegetable tanned strings from Italy.

One of the more vibrant packs this time around features fabric from Pendelton; a detail that appears on the back of the bag, no less. But while it may seem like a odd place to put such a colourful detail, it was done so out of functionally rather than pure aesthetic. Head over to People of Tastes to purchase.
