While Andy Warhol’s legacy is emblazoned with the artist’s vivid signature portraits, Diamond Dust and Shadows represents his relatively more obscure work. The pieces, created in 1979, see a departure from his signature style and instead, embracing the abstract methods he rejected in his early career. This rare collection will be on display in its entirety at the Woodward Gallery at Manhattan’s LES.
