In celebration of its 5-year anniversary, Southern California’s Distinction Gallery presents an Andy Haynes solo show titled The Journal Entries of Changing Tides, opening on June 13. Haynes combines painting and drawing to illustrate contemporary moral issues, and the dark and beautiful aspects of youth in modern America. The ocean, a common metaphor for life, appears as a recurrent theme in Haynes’ work.
