Shot over nine days, filmmaker Ronin follows the intricate steps involved in creating an entirely gold-plated Nike Zoom Force 1 snowboard boot. Created by Complete Technique – Osamu Koyama – the artist lovingly sketches, molds and creates a final product that blends fashion with high art. The “American Eagle†as it was dubbed was created as part of the Shoeshine Project 2012.
