Located in what was previously the long-unoccupied basement of London, England’s famed ‘Slam City Skates’, this new shop, dubbed ‘ONE’, takes the heritage of Slam City and readies it for the future. Featuring products from Supra and KR3W, this shop already has a rich history as the former location of ‘Rough Trade’ records that it has incorporated and emphasized:
“In homage of the basement’s musical heritage and Slam City Skates’ quarter-century commitment to the London skate scene, ONE at Slam City Skates was designed and curated to reflect the space’s rich history and cultural relevance.”
The shop’s grand opening was this past Saturday, with the likes of Chad Muska, Stevie Williams and Ali Boulala coming out to show their support for this shop, and the scene it’s meant to service.
