California-based streetwear company Freshjive has been getting a lot of press recently, and for good reason. The clothes they put out keep getting better and better. In recent seasons Freshjive has moved away from its roots as a surf and skate wear brand and taken on a more refined, tailored, and buttoned up look. But they haven’t lost their “left-coast” leanings altogether and this influence comes on strong in their latest collection. For Spring/Summer 2011, Freshjive offers a collection inspired by the Californian sun. Called “River’s Edge” it’s full of nautical stripes and prints, tailored short-sleeved button downs, and wearable slacks. Check out the lookbook below.
