Back in the 80’s Adidas created the Softcell in response to the growing popularity of high-impact sports. The Softcell features a cushioning system that absorbs shock and yet is responsive enough to be worn as a basketball shoe. The MEGA Softcell was reintroduced last year and is enjoying a bit of a renaissance with sneaker fans and athletes alike.
For it’s latest release Adidas Originals increased the shoe’s level of shock absorption and updated the look. The Softcell RL is part of the Run Lite collection and features a super lightweight mesh upper, reflective details, and extra cushioning. Available in six bold colourways and available now.
