Explosions in the Sky ‘Last Known Surroundings’ Video

Considering the type of cinematic music they create – watch any episode of Friday Night Lights, example – it’s surprising to find that Explosions in the Sky have never produced a single music video. Until now, check out the video for or “Last Known Surroundings”, a cut from the band’s latest, Takre Care, Take Care, Take Care. The clip was put together by Austin design studio Ptarmak, along with illustrator Sissy Emmons and animator David Hobizal; it’s an eight-minute-plus odyssey through space, time, and other stuff that people say when they look at lava lamps all day.
