The Vans DQM General is excited to introduce a special capsule collection with one of the most iconic messages of all time, I Love New York. Designed by Milton Glaser in 1977, the iconic pop-style graphic stands as a post-modern signature of New York; ubiquitous on shopping bags, t-shirts and souvenir stores throughout the city, the trademarked logo helps promote tourism in the state. The Vans DQM General presents a new way to wear the global symbol of the city by presenting the Vans Authentic and Sk8-Hi Reissue emblazoned with I Love New York.
The graphic will be available in an all-over print on the Classic off-white canvas of the Authentic, and on the quarter panels of the Sk8-Hi, which is finished with a black leather sidestripe. The shoes feature a classic white midsole and Vans’ gum waffle sole, flat white laces, and use ‘The Vans DQM General’ branding throughout the shoe; a printed logo at the insole and The General’s signature navy heel tab.
