Releasing this past weekend was a limited edition pack of Vans that are exclusive to three cities in Japan. Sendai features a rendition of the Vans Slip On, Tokyo the Vans Chukka and Fukuoka the Vans Era. Choosing to craft the entire upper in corduroy, the silhouettes are accentuated by tonal color-blocking in navy, brown, red forms asymmetrical, but cohesive designs. Details include leather trim and in place of the usual “VANS†logo, a special tab with the name of the shoe’s respective city takes precedence.
