Over the years Ace Hotel has contributed with a slew of top-name brands like BillyKirk, Tretorn, Incase, & Martin Greenfield, but perhaps their most highly-anticipated & coveted was the one that they did with BEAMS Japan. The ‘Cultural Engineer’ of Ace Hotel, Alex Calderwood, talks about the experience of working with BEAMS, & how products made in both the US & Japan came together. Towards the end of the video, Calderwood even hints at a potential future Tokyo location for the hotel chain. We can dream, can’t we?
