Swiss watchmaker Swatch has designed a timepiece inspired by this years Chinese zodiac animal, The Dragon. Representing a symbol of Chinese spirit, The Dragon is ornamentally placed spanning the length of the silicone watch strap. Using a colour palette and design reminiscent of traditional chinese porcelain, the blue and white graphic is apparent enough without being overbearing, offering a simple aesthetic inherent within chinese art. The gold dial is a nice touch to offset the blue and white grid of the watch face, adding a tiny flair to the traditional design.
