Converse has gone platinum — or at least metallic — for its Spring 2009 lineup of sneakers. The Triple V is a silver remake of the classic Jack Purcell and John Varvatos is back, lending his creative vision and a metallic treatment to the low profile Chuck Taylor All Star. The complete Converse by John Varavatos collection will be made available in February at select stores and online.
