Tina/Jim Darling ‘Over/Under’ Exhibit @ Open Space Gallery

New York’s Open Space gallery seems to consistently have some of the most intriguing diplays, their latest being the Over/Under Exhibit, featuring the art of Jim and Tina Darling. Both painter-illustrators, they possess contasting styles: Tina’s work is organic, and complements her characters with patterning reminiscent of blooms and orchids. Jim, on the other hand, features a wide range of commonplace characters, with clear influences being taken from stencilling and street art. This exhibit runs from April 11th to May 31st, to make sure to check it out.
