Last week, we brought you news of Get Rich Quick at Carmichael Gallery, but concurrently, they’ll also be presenting When All the Stars are Gone, an exhibit by Brazilian artist Thais Beltrame of the esteemed Famiglia Baglione collective. Beltrame will be there herself for the opening, overseeing her installation personally. As for the works themselves, her watercolor paintings (and the recurring theme of children) will be on display, though her newest work bucks the negative space-work she’s done in the past in favour of earthy tones, giving her paintings a brooding, wistful tone. The exhibit runs from May 7th to May 28th.
