Raincatch is a newly designed jacket that collects and purifies water. Hyeona Yang and Joshua Noble, students at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design came up this clever idea. Using charcoal filters, the water is cleaned through a chemical process. All the extra weight is then stored around the hips, to remove the burden for the wearer.
The jacket shows off the internal water working design, while hiding the inner storage system.
