Scion Installation L.A. is in the business of nurturing artistic expression and creative vision, and their latest exhibit, “Palate” curated by resident L.A. cultural guru, Zio Fulcher, is no exception. Hosted within the 4,500-square foot Installation Space in Culver City, Fulcher has gathered a group of internationally acclaimed artists and asked them to give us some food for thought.
The show features a large exhibit of retro candy wrappers, a vintage cookbook library, and a wall of rare sodas. With works by Jeph Gurecka, Scott Hove, Tamara Kostianovsky, Alan Macdonald, James Reynolds, Martha Rich, and Jeff Vespa, “Palate” explores works that are dynamic and energetic takes on the world’s most popular, and arguably excessive, means of expression.
