With the ‘kids’ these days doing all sorts of trickery on track bikes (not to mention those silly ‘top tube pads’ they put on them), it’s not too difficult to see a comparison between fixed gear freestyling and BMXing. And, well, DC Shoes – who haven’t historically set their sights on cycling – has certainly noticed, and they’ve teamed up with SE Bikes to release a limited-edition bike. Based on SE’s classic BMX bike, the PK Ripper, the updated version is a matte black number, limited to only 1,250 units worldwide. And, being that it’s constructed from a historical BMX manufacturer, it’ll hopefully be able to withstand a trip down a flight of stairs better than an rusted, converted 10-speed. Get more information on the project right here, and keep your eyes on your local cycle boutiques!
