Crooks & Castles hold tight with the “guns and wealth” aesthetic they’ve been pushing since, like, forever. One of the tees features a “design” inspired by a Philippe Starck floorlamp. Regarding the controversial gold-plated gun lamps, Starck has stated: “The gold of the weapons represents the collusion between money and war”. Starck has also stated that he intends to pay royalties to the designer of the AK-47, Mikhaïl Kalachnikov. I wonder if crooks have any plans to do the same for Starck…not that he needs it though, he’s made a killing off gold-plated gun lamps! The collusion between money and war seems to have produced endless enterprise within the fashion industry.
