Comme des Garcons has been taking the pop up shop route since 2004 with their self proclaimed “Guerilla Style” stores which only stay open for a years time and pushes the boundaries in terms of aesthetics and marketing. For instance, their former shop was set up under a bridge in an abandoned passageway. It’s good to see a company this committed to the old school shopping experience during a time of stale and drab online shopping.
