Graphic artist Alexa Edgerton has come up with a visual representation of the Rock-star tragedy. We all know musicians love to live fast, and often too quickly they’re a thing of the past. What Edgerton has done, is put this phenomenon into a color coordinated perspective. Edgerton explores the premature deaths of nearly 320 famous musicians, organizing them by era, age, and cause of death. This is depicted by assigning the symbol used to denote a ‘rest’ on musical sheets for each artist. The result is a visually stunning series of post-mortem dog tags which give perspective on the tragic lifestyles of the rich and famous.
