The Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jams’ are not expected for release yet, but some stores have received early shipments, and that’s probably the most exciting news you’ll hear all day. The release of a new Air Jordan is usually no cause for excitement, it’s sort of an everyday thing, but these aren’t just any Nikes, the latest drop is a reissue of the 2000 Air Jordan 11, released to commemorate Michael Jordan’s 1996 film, ‘Space Jam’.
Back in the 1990s, Spike Lee probably hoped that ‘He Got Game’ would be the touchstone film for a generation of basketball fans, but his gritty basketball drama seriously wasn’t as good as watching Michael Jordan play basketball against animated space aliens. The shoe is black and white with a translucent sole and ‘Jumpman’ logo in royal blue, and they’re available online now.
