Palladium Boots has teamed up with Major Lazer in their music video for the track “Sweat,” featuring Laidback Luke and Ms. Dynamite. Filmed with a black light, the eye-popping video is inspired by organic movement and uses neon paint to artistically represent the song’s namesake.
The music video features Los Angeles-based dance crew The Underground Street Chronicles and showcases the group’s sharp movements with sweat-inspired paints to produce fluorescent visuals against a black backdrop. With each hit of the beat, splashes of neon ‘sweat’ come from the dancers’ bodies and instruments to fill the frame.
Throughout the music video, The Underground Street Chronicles wear boots from Palladium’s Fall-Winter 2013 collection, including the enzyme-washed Pallabrouse Baggy and four variations of the waterproof Pampa Sport Cuff WP2. The Pallabrouse Baggy features a stonewashed canvas upper and burnished outsoles to create a vintage, worn-in aesthetic. The Pampa Sport Cuff WP2 debuts as part of Palladium’s athletic-inspired Sport Collection and features a waterproof ballistic nylon and leather upper. Additional waterproof details include: waterproof insole boards, waterproof thread for stitching and sealed seams. Both silhouettes maintain traditional Palladium design details, including a rubber toe cap and a durable rubber outsole. Hugging heel cups and padded EVA sockliners provide further durability and comfort.
