No doubt taking a cue from the Chinese ‘Year of the Snake’ is this Converse First String 1970’s Chuck Taylor snakeskin pack. Featuring both a HI and OX version of the shoe, the high-top features a snake-friendly faux python, while the low is constructed from a faux anaconda. Being a 1970’s edition, both sneakers feature details such as the asymmetrical toe bumper, vintage license plates and nickel eyelets. The Converse First String 1970s Chuck Taylor Snake Skin Pack became available on February 22 at Surrender in Singapore, Darkside Initiative in San Francisco and other select Global First String Retailers.
