This weekend L&D aka “the hometown favorites” chilled with Vibe Magazine and shot a bunch of behind- the- scenes flicks and video for there Notorious B.I.G fashion spread later this year. I lost my cable so I dont know when im gonna upload, but trust that I will, cause the model joints were crazy in the mini skirts and dresses. I dont want to ruin the concept before it comes out. They definitely pulled all strings for this production. Anyway, L&D … (more…)

The title says it all. This shirt is Lemar & Dauley’s “Kane Flow” shirt from Spring 07. Its crazy to see it still be featured basically a year later. That was one of my favorites at the time. I cant say I’d envisioned Atomic in it when I was creating it, but thats all the more beautiful, because this is exactly what I envisioned when we created the brand. Good stuff.
Anyway, if your interested, the shirt is long soldout, so … (more…)
My man, Hasan Insane is an insane producer. He recently came through to pass me a few copies of the remake of Jigga’s Black Gangster. This joint is smooth. Its broken down in 3 parts. The Genesis, the rise, and finally the demise. I been playing it from front to back for the last 2 weeks, which is like the equivalent of 6 months in today’s “new single everyday 20 mins” era. I would have uploaded it sooner, … (more…)
Shot outs to the fam “down unda” for the 1-2 hit(pause). First they hit us with the footwear review then the L&D interview on the “making of the L&D X Adidas Collab”. Next we will be doing a contest for the opportunity to snatch a pair for free. Stay in the loop.
Last week L&D officially dropped the Lemar and Dauley X Adidas streetball 08. I havent played ball in a minute, so I figured now was a good time to get it going, especially before the summer hits. It was a dope feeling to actually score & miss shots while playing in them. I played aight. It didnt get busy, but it served its purpose, plus the ladies was feeling the teal. I left the park with a 2-1 record, copped a … (more…)

Check out this interview with Karmaloop hosted by Complex’s Anonma Whitaker as she, Manhattan and I examine this industry we have all collectively created. As I begin to reflect on everything L&D has brought to the table, now entering our 5th year, I am proud. For both negative and positive, we have had an amazing impact. That impact will continue, as we align ourselves with some crazy and ambitious projects this year. Watch, as the most authentic brand in the streets, … (more…)

The other night I got the chance to go see Justice perform at Madison Square Garden. Although i’ve heard Justice’s music before, I can’t actually say I can be labeled a fan, but my friend was doing a write-up and asked me to tag along. At the last minute she asked me to take some flicks, so I obliged. I got some cool shots of Justice backstage as well as Dj Medhi. Afterwards, I went to the show and watched Chromeo … (more…)

B.I.G is not the only great to call Bed-Stuy home. I dont have the facts to prove this yet, but I’m almost positive Bed-stuy has produced the most celebrated individuals in the history of all neighborhoods on the planet. Not only are they celebrated, most of them are pioneers, infamous, legendary and pop cultures biggest influencers. Dont believe me, well watch… ill prove it.
In honor of B.I.G, Im gonna post some images from our 4.5 anniversary party last summer. Now, your probably wondering how could your party have anything to do with B.I.G. Well, Ill answer you smarty pants. The backdrop that we asked every one to be photographed in front of, is the corner of Fulton St & Gates Ave. This is 1 block away from his home on St. James and also the very same bodega from the video in “Juicy” . … (more…)
