Anthony Michael Sneed is an emerging artist living and working in Brooklyn. Sneed’s work frequently invokes the 8-bit imagery of 80’s video games and he uses this visual framework to view and comment on contemporary events. The result is a series of images that juxtapose the digital with the hand-made, retro imagery with modern themes, and biting social commentary with dark humor and naivety.
Sneed is definitely someone to keep your eye on. Check out the video below featuring work from Sneed’s exhibition Hell for Hire.
